摘要

Essential oil as one kind of terpenoid plays an important role in disease resistance and plant protection. In recent years, it becomes one of research hotspots in the field of plant secondary metabolism, but its synthetic site has been debated. Electron microscopic cytochemistry of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA synthetase) was introduced in biosynthesis pathway of essential oils in Citrus grandis. Using energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), the qualitative and quantitative analysis approved that the cytochemistry position of HMG-CoA synthesize is more accurate and reliable.
