ANALYSIS AND OPTIMIZATION OF BEIJING SUBWAY NETWORK OPERATION CHARACTERISTICS

As Beijing Subway Network growing rapidly in recent years,the number of passengers is rising increasingly.On one hand,heavy congestions occurred during the peak period,on the other hand less passengers travel during off peak hours.There are several reasons leading that happened,firstly large number of passengers travelling through peak period; secondly the distribution of passengers' OD is not balanced; thirdly '2RMB' low fare strategy has been using to guide passengers' travelling by the public transport.Based on daily monitoring data of Beijing Subway Network,this passage will do researches on some important index as passengers' OD,passenger flow,full-load ratio,as well as domestic and foreign advanced experience in operations management,urban subway network development model,and provide suggestions to optimize Beijing Subway Network planning and operation model.
