The miscibility of blends of propylene-1-hexene (PH) copolymers with 11 and 21 mol% of 1-hexene has been studied theoretically and using DSC. Melt miscibility was accessed by PVT data and group contributions. Single glass transition temperatures in the blends that scale linearly with the blend content support miscibility. Melting and heat of fusion indicate that the blend components crystallize separately. The heat of fusion scales with increasing content of PH21 proportionally to the monoclinic or trigonal phase of each component.
