摘要

The structure formation of atmospheric millimeter wave breakdown plasma was observed. The breakdown plasma on a high power Gaussian and the flat beam was compared to each other. The propagation velocity of plasma head and shock wave pressure was measured. The propagation velocity had dependence on peak power density. On the other hand, the stronger shock wave was detected by the flat beam because of greater plasma absorption of beam power which had dependence on the beam profile.
