The purpose of the study is to determine how different stresses such as academic, non-academic,and in between stresses are associated with academic performance among Hispanicundergraduate students. We used confirmatory factor analysis and multiple regression analysisusing data collected from 83 Hispanic undergraduate students. The results indicate that onlyacademic stress is negatively associated with GPA. Neither non-academic stress nor in-betweenstress is significantly associated with academic performance. Managerial implications andconclusion are addressed.
