At 7days post-TBI, treatment with PgP/siRhoA polyplexes demonstrated significant knockdown of RhoA expression in the ipsilateral cortex and RhoA knockdown by PgP/siRhoA accompanied with reduction in lesion area, apoptotic response, and inflammatory response indicating reduced severity of secondary injury. Future work will aim to characterize functional recovery following PgP/siRhoA treatment, including tests for motor and memory function up to 4 weeks post-injury.
