The synchronization problem is concerned for a complex network with inner-coupling faults. Firstly, the model of this kind of complex network is established where the inner-coupling faults are presented by a sequence of fault factors. Then the synchronization criteria are derived based on the Lyapunov stability theory and master stability equation method in the form of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, a numerical simulation example is carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed fault-tolerant synchronization criterion.
