Field emission methods are employed for standing the conditions of formation, crystallographic localization and emissive properties preequilibrium thermofield microprotrusions for a number refractory metals. The thermofield microprotrusions are the crystalline objects with the sizes ~100 A, the radii of curvature of the microprotrusions tops are r ~10-15 A. The microprotrusions may be used as ideal point sources of the electrons and ions. The thermofield microprotrusions may be stationary, equilibrium and preequilibrium. A microprotrusion undergo a influence of a field strength pressure P{sub}F = F{sup}2/8π and surface tension strength P{sub}γ = 2γ/r (F - field strength, γ - surface tension coefficient). The pressures and emitter temperature T create three flows - a flow of blunting -J{sub}γ, a flow of sharpening J{sub}F and a flow of evaporation -J{sub}e.
