摘要

In this study, wire antenna systems are analyzed via two well-known techniques: the Finite-Difference Time-Domain and Method of Moments. The advantages and disadvantages of the techniques and their parameter requirements are discussed on acanonical test case. Various antenna systems are designed and their performances are tested under different environmental conditions with variety of parameters. Different ground screens are modeled over lossy ground and their effects on antenna gain andradiation patterns are investigated. Both broad-side and end-fire arrays are simulated and electronic beam steering is simulated.
