It is important to grasp information over a wide area so that vehicles can reach stricken areas for rescue and support activities after a large-scale disaster such as an earthquake or tsunami. Thus, we extracted areas of blocked road after a large-scale disaster using satellite images, which are hardly affected by disasters. In particular, we previously proposed a method that coped with damage due to both an earthquake and a tsunami such as after The Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake on March 11, 2011. This method is expected to be useful for searching routes comprising passable roads. In this paper, we propose a method of improving the precision of extracting areas of blocked road based on our previous method.
