We constructed a database (DB) of vehicle daily logs from data acquired by simple sensors placed in vehicles. The electrical energy consumption is estimated from those logs by the power model of electric vehicles (EVs). We designated the DB as the ECOLOG DB, standing for Energy Consumption Log. Using appropriate queries in the DB, various estimations of some effects were obtained quantitatively by replacing internal-combustion vehicles (ICVs) with EVs. Vehicle-to-X (V2X) applications can enable estimation of the quantitative amount of movable electrical energy using a query. We constructed a prototype system. Then we performed a long-term experiment for two years.
