Research Development of New Generation Toll Collection System in China

摘要

A new generation unified toll collection has been researched in china, based on a system combine GPS with wireless access and DSRC. It is able to record the mileage and position of vehicle, and take account of other factors such as number of axles, let level, type of road and jam degree and so on to calculate the toll automatically. This new system will be designed and tested in next 5 years.
