Main principlés of structure-morphometric analysis for the relief and neotectonics research of the Ukrainian Carpathians

Consideration is given to the structure-morphometric analysis base principles for the relief and latest tectogenesis studying. The possibility of structural morphometry classic technique application for mountain regions by using of GIS-technologies (Spatial Analysis and Spatial Modeling) has been shown. Initial stages determination of the main morphometry relief indexes by example of the Ukrainian Carpathians have been carried out. Morphometry features allow observing local tectonic structures in relief and their morphology and configuration on different hypsometric levels.
