In order to monitor and predict Dianchi cyanobacterial blooms in different time scales, the system was studied based on the multi-function wireless sensor network technology and geographic information systems. The gray theory and BP artificial neural network were combined to achieve dynamic forecasting and prediction of water quality; temporal and spatial expression using GIS technology to display water quality and forecasting results. In this paper, the Dianchi Lake is our research object. The research results can provide technical support to the realization of cyanobacteria bloom forecast and lake protection.
