Some Considerations About Overvoltages During and After The Disconnection of a Photovoltaic Park

摘要

The grid integration of a photovoltaic park requires some rules to be fulfilled, rules stipulated in local normative. One of the common constraint is the voltage and reactive power control. In some cases this could lead to dangerous transient phenomena, associated with overvoltages and current circulations. In this paper such a scenario is discussed showing not only the causes and effects, but also some recommendation to avoid possible damages, based on oscillograms recorded by digital protective relays.
