Unlike traditional approaches to inverse aperture synthesis by means of Fourier or Fresnel transform in dependence if the object is in far-field or intermediate zone, the space inverse filtering application is proposed. The inverse filter characteristics are obtained by means of calibration by scanning standard objects in form of metal strips. This approach allows us to compensate not only phase distortions but amplitude ones. The method has been tested experimentally for resolution of two metal strips separated by air gap. Corresponding estimates of resolution have been obtained. The results of improvement of radio images of cylinder are presented.
