摘要

The Circular Test is a powerful measuring principle based on the comparison between the real path described by a machine tool's end effector and the nominal circle. With a new device developed at the Institute of Production Engineering in Graz this measurement principle can be applied to unconventional machine structures like industrial robots and hexapods, measuring simultaneously position and orientation of the machine tool.
