Frame synchronization is traditionally achieved by inserting a given sequence periodically into the data stream. The synchronization acquiring performance of the traditional scheme decreases while the probability of false frame synchronization increases. A novel MPA (Multichannel Parallel Acquiring) scheme is introduced. The performances of traditional scheme and MPA scheme are investigated. The theoretical analysis shows that the MPA scheme can avoid false synchronous phenomenon effectively and acquire the synchronization faster than the traditional scheme especially when using a shorter synchronization sequence. The simulations were made to confirm the result. At last, the hardware implementation of the MPA scheme is discussed and the complexity analysis is also made to promote the practical use of the new scheme.
