An energy management strategy, based on vehicle power units' steady-state test data of a single driveshaft parallel hybrid electric vehicle, has been presented with the purpose of real-timely distributing driver's torque request. The energy management strategy this paper presents is an energy control strategy based on regular logic threshold. Accordingly, the vehicle management system is introduced, which adopts real-timely the vehicle's working mode and distribute real-timely driver's torque request to the engine and ISG in the light of the driver's parameters, engine speed, vehicle speed and SOC etc in order to reduce fuel consumption,. The energy management strategy has been tested by chassis dynometer, with the result of the fuel consumption reduced 10%, and its feasibility is thus validated.
