Making a Case for Analytical Methods in Field Theory in Today's World of Electromagnetics dominated by Computational EM

This paper argues that despite the explosive growth of computer codes, which has inadvertently stilted the theoretical developments in Electromagnetics, there is room-indeed great need-for theoretical efforts that complement the purely numerical developments.
