摘要

New topology of boost-type 3-level inverter is proposed in this paper. The circuit is made of one diode, one capacitor and four transistors. Compared with traditional classic inverter, the proposed one has boost capacity, with using switched-capacitor technology, which capacitors' voltages can be balanced automatically, making high performance in electric vehicle applications. In this paper, the circuit topology, working principle, operating states and voltage ripple are analyzed, by using PDPWM and PODPWM modulation strategies. Simulation results are provided to verify the feasibility of the proposed inverter.
