摘要

An exit choice model and procedure are presented for pedestrian evacuation simulation. The model is based on multinomial logit discrete choice model with consideration of the factors influencing the egress time and the preferences of different exit types. We found that the evacuation time of individual are different for the congestion at different locations and therefore defined a counting area from decision makers’ point of view for estimating the density which is related to the queuing time. The exit choice model and procedure are introduced into software building EXODUS. Compared with the original model of building EXODUS, the simulation results are closer to the reality, especially in the scenarios with obstacles and non-uniform pedestrian distribution.
