As co-location of photovoltaics and greenery has gain increased deployment in the tropics for a sustainable built environment, it is crucial to understand how plants are affected by changes in solar radiation intensity. Hence, this study reports an assessment on how module elevation height affects incident solar irradiance received by the greenery and subsequent plant growth in a tropical climate. Results indicate that while a larger module elevation height can provide higher levels of solar irradiance, the plant height and coverage decreased. The results of this study provide insights into plant growth in tropical co-located PV-GR systems.
