Progress in Solving the 'Unsolved Problems in Satellite Theory'

摘要

We revisit the seminal 1961 paper of G. M. Clemence in light of the advances in the intervening 50years. We review progress on the unsolved problems identified by Clemence, discuss the supportingtechnology now available, and give a list of currently unsolved problems. We note that the 1961status still prevails in some current systems, denying significant advances over intervening decades.This paper is retrospective and is not intended for scholarly archive.
