Safety activities at the Guiana Space Centre (CSG) consist in a set of requirements designed to manage thetechnical hazards relating to the preparation and performance of launches, to ensure the safety of people andproperty and to protect public health and the environment, on the ground and in flight.From the beginning of Ariane programme to recently, CSG, has been dedicated to the sole Ariane launcher family.In October 2011, Soyouz, then in February 2012 Vega came in addition of Ariane as new users of CSG facilities.This major change has been made easier by the Space Operation Act that clarified responsibility of each actor.Nevertheless, adaptation of some of the range facilities and some of the method and safety procedures used so far,were necessary.The purpose of this publication is to present these evolutions in relation with each new launch vehicle problematicand specificities, to underline analogies and differences and how they aim to reach the same level of protection ofpeople, property and protection of public health and the environment.
