We propose a new tuning method of Bragg reflection band with a microsecond response in cholesteric liquid crystals (ChLCs). The ChLC device consisted of an anisotropic polymer matrix possessing helical order embedded with nanosized pores filled with a ChLC. The LC composite showed a decay time of 6 μs.
