摘要

Close-form solution of free vibration of axially loaded beams with damage intervals is proposed using half-range function.Bayesian estimate theory was introduced in damage identification utilizing dynamic response consideration of model error and measurement noise.Independent Markov chain Monte Carlo sampling was employed to deal with slow convergence for random walk sampling.The methodology presented in this paper successfully identified damage location and extent in probability framework in the numerical case study.
