An intersection plays a key role on urban road network. Conflict between pedestrians and motor vehicles turning right is an important factor that affects the intersection operating efficiency. Evaluation methods for intersections whose indicators are pedestrians' level of service meet a more "people-oriented" concept of traffic design. This paper studies the traditional model which is pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles crossing the street alone, and studies setting the right-turn Channelization island mode. The authors, through surveying, chose representation of pedestrian characteristics, violation probability, waiting time, and speed to cross against the oncoming right-turning motor vehicle, and integrated it into the objective function, flow, and speed of right-turning vehicles, and selected them as the main independent variable to do a binary linear regression. Finally, we get design conditions whose indicators are comprehensive traffic volume, and speed of right-turning vehicles. Supplemented by an instance of inspection, at last, this study has a guiding role for the intersection traffic design mode.
