Dynamic fatigue parameter (n_d) test of optical fibre using axial tension and two-point bending method was compared. The n_d test result of the two methods was close when using proper rates. Effect of loading mode on n_d test in two-point bending method was also studied. Constant faceplate velocity and constant strain rate gave very close n_d test result in two-point bending method.
