Water-Solubje absorbent β-cyclodextrin-grafted polyethyleneimine for removing bilirubin from plasma

摘要

The water-soluble adsorbent β-CD-PEI prepared in this study offered an efficient alternative to albumin for removing bilirubin from plasma. The bilirubin removal capacity of β-CD-PEI-spiked dialysis was higher than those of BSA-spiked dialysis. β-CD-PEI could also remove TBA and aromatic amino acids at the same time. The work demonstrated the likelihood of β-CD-PEI being an effective adsorbent for blood purification.
