Biomimetic Nanofibers and Healthcare

摘要

Our pre-clinical studies on the regeneration of nerve, bone, skin, blood vessels, and heart, etc. have shown great advantages of nanofiber-based scaffolds. These scaffolds have strongly supported the attachment, migration, proliferation and differentiation of corresponding cell types as well as efficiently regenerated new tissues/organs in small-to-large animal models. With such advantages, we believe that there would be a good number of clinical trials using biomimetic nanofibers in the near future, which would bring them into the real clinical treatment of diverse targeted tissues/organs.
