摘要

In the present study, a novel chemically defined and bioocompatible adhesive, Lydex was prepared by mixing aldehyded dextran and ε-poly(1-lysine). Lydex showed excellent biomechanical properties as well as wound closure and antihemorrhagic effects comparable to conventional adhesives. These results suggest that Lydex could be effectively used as a medical adhesive with bleeding-stoppage function.
