Dip Pen Nanolithography is a versatile technology that can be used to deposit a range of biomaterials at size scales of 100 nm to 10 μm. Unlike other techniques, it is direct deposition that is biocompatible and capable of simultaneously depositing multiple different biomaterials. The deposition location is precisely defined and enabling functionalizing of features such as pillars, cantilevers, and biosensors. This combination of size scale, accuracy, and versatility is enabling new areas of biological research that were previously not possible.
