In summary, the work described herein was to detect the protein expression levels of TFR-1 and ferritin in Raw 264.7 cells after SPIO labelling (8 μg/mL Fe) in vitro. Up-regulation of ferritin and down-regulation of TFR-1 was observed after 24 h of SPIO probe labelling, and substantial recovery was only found for TFR-1 expression.
