摘要

The paper studies possibilities of creating an artificial system of image classification and recognition that simulates the functions of the human retina. Cellular automata are used to create such a system. A method for image recognition, rotated to any angle and in the modified scale, is proposed. The proposed methods and schematic technical decisions are simulated.
