Research on choice of technological innovation type and enterprise performance under different corporate governance

摘要

This paper analyzes the impacts of technological innovation on enterprise performance under diffenent types of corporate governance. After testing our hypotheses based on EFA, CFA and SEM by using dates of 182 companies from Chinese manufacture and high-technology industries, we find that market-controlled corporate governance facilitates product innovation, organization-controlled corporate governance facilitates progress innovation, and both types of innovation can promote enterprise performance. Besides, market-controlled corporate governance is negatively correlate with strategic performance while organization-controlled corporate governance is positively correlate with strategic performance and financial performance.
