The Two-Stage Detonation Propulsion Model's trend-lines and equations reveal that both the thickness and properties of material propelled by a brisant condensed explosive affect the explosive's 1st stage performance. (This includes an explosive affecting its own performance when it is the "propelled" material.) The equations describing motion during the 2nd stage conform to recent experiment data. Both the trend-lines and equations identify areas requiring new scientific research.
