In general, the epoxy systems used in these experiments follow the same correlations between fracture toughness, glass transition temperature, and molecular weight between crosslinks that have been observed in the literature. The toughenability resulting from the addition of nanorubber only resulted in a slight improvement in fracture toughness for the single curative systems, but resulted in considerably larger increases in fracture toughness for the multiple curative systems.
