摘要

A new approach for the large-scale production of adaptive materials is the direct integration of sub-millimeter sized piezo-ceramic micro parts into a micro-structured sheet metal The manufacturing of this novel type of piezo-electric actuators and sensors requires the precision assembly of piezo-ceramic micro parts. Reconfigurable transparent electrostatic micro-grippers were designed on the basis of numerical simulations and have been demonstrated to be qualified for the assembly task.
