摘要

Vehicle conversion coefficient is an important component for studying traffic capacity and is the foundation of both management and controlling researches on intersection. The operation characteristic of vehicle on intersections is significantly different from ordinary sections (such as lower speeds, more frequent acceleration and deceleration, etc). Besides different vehicle have different dynamic performance, which has a greater influence in traffic capacity. A new way of calculating equivalent conversion coefficient in the intersection is given which is based on the dynamic performance of vehicle, and the formula of counting the equivalent coefficient was built.
