摘要

During this work a portable solar cell characterization device as well as its application in a building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) test system is shown. The solar cells are characterized by measuring their current-voltage curve (I-V-curve) in user-defined intervals. A test setup was build that allows the application of various types of facade elements and solar cells. Up to four solar cells, oriented at the four cardinal directions, can be measured simultaneously over a whole day, which allows a comprehensive comparison of them. Besides additional energy yields also advantages of a more consistent/user adapted energy distribution over a day, resulting from facade-mounted solar cells/modules, can be evaluated. To enable a more detailed data analysis the local irradiance as well as the temperature of each cell and the specific facade panel is determined. Outdoor measurements under the influence of natural sunlight and various weather conditions were conducted with crystalline cells and thin film (CZTS) modules, mounted on exchangeable facade elements.
