ON-SITE INSPECTION OF PV MODULES USING AN INTERNATIONALLY ACCREDITED PV MOBILE LAB: A THREE-YEAR EXPERIENCE OPERATING WORLDWIDE

Enertis, S.L. overviews the lessons learned from January 2013 to June 2015 using the in-house designed and internationally accredited PV Mobile Laboratory (PVMobLab) for the on-site, cost-effective and high-quality testing of more than 6,000 PV modules from Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 manufacturers (around 2MWp of samples) in Europe, related to more than 80 plants, including commercial rooftops and utility-scale solar installations. This outstanding PV quality tool has been successfully implemented along the different stages of the lifespan of PV projects, such as batch/pre-shipment acceptance tests, plant acceptance tests, commissioning, O&M or during PV failure and diagnosis tests.
