Novel electrolyte‐filling equipment capable of filling liquid electrolyte into an enclosed cell with a single hole has been constructed. Electrolyte filling is one of the important tasks in dye‐sensitized solar cell (DSC) production process which should be performed under inert gas environment to prevent moisture contamination. This system utilizes a vacuum‐aided filling technique and has four major steps in the filling process, namely evacuation, Evacuation of the cell Discharge the electrolyte discharging, filling, and returning extra electrolyte. This vacuum‐aided filling technique macroscopically results in air-bubble free filling between two electrodes, microscopically removes the air trapped inside the micro‐cracks in the porous TiO_2 film, and assists better insertion of electrolyte throughout it.
