Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM) is currently a simple and efficient solution for civil aviation applications to check the integrity of GNSS. In order to design and evaluate the RAIM parameters for vertically guided approaches, an optimized key parameters on RAIM (OKP RAIM) method is proposed to analyze and optimize the RAIM parameters in this paper. The way RAIM algorithms can be implemented by taking into account both civil aviation requirement with detailed process and threat model. In addition, based on worst bias case, the RAIM availability can be improved with a new evaluation algorithm. Simulations are represented to demonstrate that using GPS and Galileo constellations with the single failure can achieve the APVI performance well and further support that of LPV 200.
