In this work, polyacrylonitrile/cellulose acetate (PAN/CA) blend microfiltration membrane was prepared by phase inversion method. PAN/CA blend membrane was prepared by changing blend ratio of PAN/CA. The effects of blend ratio on the membrane performance and structure were studied. The membrane performance and structure were evaluated by pure water flux, retention to bovine serum albumin (BSA), mean pore size and porosity. Pure water flux and mean pore size reaches the maximum and retention to BSA reaches the minimum when CA concentration is 10%.
