Technology transfer for renewable energy development and use in Africa

Renewable energy is a crucial factor if sustainable development on the continent of Africa is to be given the priority it deserves. The technologies for achieving this however mainly exist outside its geographical boundaries. This makes the issue of technology transfer quite pertinent.
