In result of the enhancement of true color composition and fusion of IKONOS multispectral and panchromatic image we will obtain new image with high spectral and high spatial resolution. The new image will be look more natural that help the users correctly in interpreting objects on the image. Moreover, the information of the enhanced image is clearer than using multispectral and panchromatic images separately. Normally, fusion of IKONOS multispectral and panchromatic using available methods in commercial software such as ENVI, ERDAS, and PCI Geomatica usually got a problem with the color distortion. In this paper we improved Color Normalized fusion method for pan-sharpening IKONOS image. The method based on linear algorithms to change true color composition of origin multispectral image and transformation of panchromatic image before fusion. This method called "MODIFIED COLOR NORMALIZED PAN-SHARPENING METHOD AND NATURAL COLOR ENHANCEMENT FOR FUSION IKONOS IMAGE". The proposal method has been used for processing more than 13.000 km2 IKONOS images covering over Mekong delta river. The test areas include agriculture, urban, forest, aquaculture, and the results show that the fusion method produces images with the best spatial and spectral quality
