摘要

In this paper,the seismic performance of the RC pier of 5-span continuous girder bridge has been investigated using nonlinear time-history dynamic analysis and the evaluation of seismic performance of RC bridge pier is proposed. Special seismic analysis program-TDAPIII (time domain 3-dimensional dynamic analysis program) is used in this analysis. In analytical model,the superstructure and abutment are idealized as elastic beam element,the foundation is idealized as nodal spring element,RC piers are idealized as fiber elements,and rubber bearings are idealized as spring elements. These input ground motions are acceleration waves which are recorded in the 1976 Tangshan earthquake and the 1995 Hyogo-ken Nanbu earthquake. These nonlinear time-history responsive results of RC bridge piers are evaluated using ductility seismic design method. The evaluated results show these RC bridge piers have no damage under medium-scale earthquake and have no collapse under strong earthquake
