Do More with Less: Five Ways to Increase Your Team's Capacity

Documentation managers are continually challenged to do more with less. Fewer resources are available than ever and these managers must find ways to increase the productivity of their teams. This paper provides five ideas from the author's experience in the outsourcing arena that could be applied to internal documentation teams: starting your projects late, avoiding generalization, focusing on metrics, finding bottlenecks through metric analysis, and using outsourcing as a staff augmentation tactic.
