N-(2-hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide (HPMA)copolymers containing 20 mole% feed ratio of glycine-glycine in the side chains, and hydroxyl-terminated poly (amido amine) dendrimers (PAMAM-OH) generations 5.0 and 7.0 were studied for their biodistribution in orthotopic ovarian tumor bearing mice. PAMAM-OH dendrimers showed higher liver accumulation than the HPMA copolymer under study. PAMAM-OH G7.0 showed greater and more persistent tumor accumulation compared to PAMAM-OH G5.0 and the HPMA copolymer.
